Daycare Worker Raped babies while on duty

What the Hell is going on?

So in today's news it has been found that an Ohio daycare worker by the name of Heather Koon filmed herself  performing a sexual act on a toddler in at the daycare center that she works at. Koon was arrested on Oct. 4 on two felony charges of rape. Keep reading to find out more about how prosecutors and police took her down.

Who the Hell is Heather Koon?

Koon is described as a 25 year old daycare worker at ABC Kidz daycare, police found the concrete evidence of this disgusting act on a laptop in Koon's apartment that she shared with her registered sex offender boyfriend who the cops were performing a routine check on the offender and ended up finding Koon's laptop with this horrific act on it.

On October 7 at her Koon's arraignment Ohio prosecutors said that they have "very strong evidence" against Koon and stated that her victims are between the age of 1 and 2 years old WKYC reported. Her bond is set at 2 million dollars, 1 million for each felony count.

The daycare ABC Kidz daycare were all of this horror went down, has been in full cooperation with police and the state during this investigation. They even made all parents aware of this investigation as soon as it happened, they took a stand to keep parents informed instead of brushing it under the rug like we've seen many times before with facilities involving children.

At least two parents are starting too put two in two together when its comes to the behavior of their children lately when it comes to the daycare center. One parent Andrea Lankey noticed little things changing with her 2 year old son and upon finding out about the investigation immediately took her child to the Doctor due to her also being under Koon's care during the time period in question.  Here's what Lankey states

"He(her son) doesn't like getting his diapers changed anymore,he doesn't like being touched, and then when I used to drop him off there he used to scream so bad that he would be hyperventilating. Then this comes along and your like whoa something could have been going on this whole time."

Lankey plans to press charges stating that she's pretty sure that there were more children involved , its just the fact that Koon only got caught with evidence of two victims.


Its a different story for the father of on of the actual victims in the video, he chooses to  remain anonymous. He states that ABC Kidz acted like it was just a simple assault and if he could please keep it discreet.

This blows my mind

Here's what I don't understand how could this happen at this daycare and nobody noticed or stepped up. This daycare was entrusted with the safety and care of these children, how is it that no one new about her sex offender boyfriend isn't that what we have background checks for with daycare worker, and teachers. This just burned me up so bad because I have a six year old son, and I would absolutely loose my mind if I found out this was happening at his school, or daycare when he was that age.My prayers go out to all the families involved in this ongoing investigation in Elyria, Ohio. Stand strong and vigilant hopefully this will bring sweeping changes across the country on how daycare worker are screened and how that should reach their home life as well.
